AGM Abogados is proud to have been part of the legal team that advised Fleury Michon, S.A., a prominent leader in the French food sector, on the sale of 50% of the shares of Platos Tradicionales, S.A. to Torrent Fimer, S.L., a company belonging to the well-known Familia Martínez group.
The AGM team was composed of Francisco Lacasa and Julio Menchaca, partners in the Transactions, Mergers, and Acquisitions department, and Jérémie Dazza, a lawyer from the firm’s French Desk. They collaborated with Pascal Lemaitre, a lawyer from the Parisian firm Intuitu Avocats.
At the beginning of June, Fleury Michon announced the start of exclusive negotiations with Familia Martínez, its strategic partner in Spain, for the sale of shares in Platos Tradicionales, which prepares ready-made meals for Mercadona and employs over 700 people. On June 26, the agreement was made official, with a total value of 68 million euros.
This transaction represents a significant step forward in the development strategy of Familia Martínez, while Fleury Michon focuses on strengthening its core business.
