Who We Are
Lawrope is a network of law firms from different jurisdictions. Harnessing the firms’ collective talents gives clients confidence in our members’ abilities to effectively and seamlessly manage both routine and complex international legal matters.
Many of the firms within Lawrope have over 35 years’ collective experience of cooperating together in a trusted alliance.
Our member firms’ collective experience enables them to work seamlessly and reliably together, sharing contacts and best practices, ensuring access to lawyers with the expertise to help clients succeed and fulfil their goals.
In addition, by working together we are able to generate international leads and referrals.

Lawrope's Board of Directors

Adrian Schmid
“A vibrant, personal network is our strategy: lawyers who know and trust each other, share standards, and respond instantly – so cross-border teamwork works smoothly and clients receive timely, pragmatic results.”

Federica Odello
“As a former Chairman of the Board, I experienced a stimulating mix of challenges and rewards. I learned that leadership begins with empowerment. Harmonizing diverse professional backgrounds and cultural perspectives toward our common goal of organizational growth was a truly rewarding endeavor.”

Michael L. Kabik
“As Chairman of the Board and President, I can say without a doubt that Lawrope’s ‘secret sauce’ is its people and personal relationships. Unlike other enormous ‘pay-to-play’ international legal networks, Lawrope members develop strong, enduring, one-on-one bonds and are never ‘lost in the crowd’.”

Robert J. M. Sintnicolaas
“As Lawrope’s treasurer I wholeheartedly agree that money is a means, not an end. Since Lawrope’s goal is to create and sustain a network of lawyers who know each other and promote business among them, not much money is needed as long as we use it wisely.”

Robertson Emerenciano
“As Vice-Chairman of the Board and the Past President, I am a firm believer in alliances among countries and professionals, aiming to strengthen connections and increase the ability to serve clients with quality and expertise.”
