PPP (Public-Private Partnerships) in Sao Paulo – New Opportunities

The city of São Paulo is starting its biggest PPP (Public-Private Partnerships) program ever created. Plenty of municipal activities, currently held by the Government, will be transferred to private entities through privatization.

João Dória, the new elected mayor that took office in January 2017, is an experienced executive from the private sector, whose objectives consist to professionalize the municipal public management and to administer the city efficiently, not only politically.

This new PPP Program will offer a broad number of investment opportunities throughout the city, becoming attractive for foreign groups and investors. Those opportunities are widely ranged, involving sectors such as Infrastructure, Sports and Events, Technology, Leisure, Public Transportation and many others.
