AGM Abogados incorporates Jonathan Gil Mingorance into its ranks as Partner of the Employment Law area of the firm.
A lawyer with a degree in Law from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), he has more than 16 years’ experience in labour law, social security and occupational risk prevention.
Jonathan has a long professional career advising large Spanish and multinational business groups. During his career he has specialised in collective negotiation, internal flexibility measures, workforce restructuring (ERE, ERTE), production decentralisation processes, corporate reorganisations, transnational transfers of workers and labour audits.
He has worked for 13 years in the Labour Law area of DWF-RCD Rousaud Costas Duran, becoming a partner in the firm’s Labour Department, and was previously a lawyer in the Labour Department of BDO Spain. In addition, Jonathan is a lecturer in the Master’s Degree in Administrative Management at the University of Barcelona (UB) and the University Abat Oliba CEU (UAO), and in the Master’s Degree in Law and the Master’s Degree in Access at Higher Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE-Master in Laws).
He is also a regular speaker at the Association of Administrative Managers of Catalonia, the Association of Economists of Catalonia and the Association of Chartered Accountants and Business Graduates, and has been a leading lawyer in the prestigious international legal directories Best Lawyers and Chambers and Partners Europe.
Jonathan joins the Employment team, which he will coordinate together with current partners Joaquín Abril and Luis San José. With this new incorporation, AGM aims to strengthen the firm’s Labour Law area, which is very necessary given the current economic context and the growing demand and interest. This will contribute to maintaining the quality standard of services that has always characterised the firm.
