Recent case law has shown how parties can become embroiled in disputes if they do not follow payment processes correctly. The various requirements in relation to interim and final payments (particularly pay less notices) can be a minefield. This interactive workshop will be looking at:
Who has to do what.
When they have to do it.
What happens if they get it wrong.
Areas to be discussed will include some of the frequent queries that can arise in relation to the key payment provisions under:
- The Construction Act
- JCT contracts
