On May 25, 2016, the new European Data Protection Regulation came into force, but it does not start to be applied until 2 years later, that is, next May 25, 2018. During this transitory period they have remained fully valid and applicable. both Directive 95/46 and national standards, such as the well-known LOPD (Law 15/999) and the objective of this transition has been to allow the States of the European Union, the European Institutions and also the organizations that process data have been prepared and adapted until the application of the Regulation.
Therefore, it is already very urgent for all companies to apply these measures in the face of the imminence of the planned date. The day serves to know first hand what are the main changes of the new European Regulation of Data Protection and guide companies in the process of adaptation, detailing what they should do and how we can help them from a legal point of view (AGM Abogados) and technical (IDavinci).
There is hardly any margin for compliance with the Law, so the session is of great interest to companies that have yet to adapt.
